Crystal Lawns Elementary School's three classes of first graders used watermelons to learn a variety of subjects. * They held the fruit and guessed its weight, then used a scale to find its actual weight. * They used yarn - and their arms - to guess the circumference of each watermelon. * They ate the watermelon and guessed how many seeds inside. Some of the seeds may be planted in the spring. Such a delicious way to learn! #202proud
